Pressing Instructions
1. Pre-Press (Optional)
A pre-press isn’t required, but it can help remove moisture and improve results.
2. Position Your Design
Place the transfer exactly where you want it.
Heat-resistant tape is usually not needed on flat presses.
Use tape when pressing hats or using an iron.
3. Press #1
Cover with parchment paper.
Press at 310°F / 155°C for 30–35 seconds
Use medium to heavy pressure.
A little extra heat, time, or pressure won’t harm the transfer — just avoid overheating your garment. Always protect it with parchment or a guard sheet.
4. Press #2
Let the design rest for 10 seconds, then press again.
5. Cool & Peel
Let the transfer cool for 15–30 seconds.
Peel slowly from a corner while watching to ensure everything is adhering.
If parts don’t stick:
Repress with more pressure and +5–10 seconds.
If still needed, increase heat in 15°F increments.
6. Final Press & Wash
Cover with parchment or a thin shirt layer and press for 15 seconds to soften and strengthen the design.
For a shiny finish, use a protective guard sheet.
Washing:
Turn the garment inside out.
Wash cold.
Dry on low heat or hang dry.
